🌈Things I’ve learnt from an 80 hour fast🌈
- /The hunger goes away/. I can’t stress this enough, you CAN get over that hurdle of hunger.
- Eating takes up SO much time in your day. These past three days I’ve been more productive than one day of constantly stuffing my face.
- Waking up to the scales each morning and seeing that number drop is the best goddamn feeling in the world.
- You can save so much money just from not needing food. This is brilliant with the holidays coming up.
- Your stomach will hurt. Like a bitch.
- Bending over hurts.
- Sneezing is horrendous.
- But would you rather the pain or the weight? Yeah, me too.
- Sugar free gum will be your best friend, stack up.
- Tea helps with the fatigue and dizziness.
- The dizziness and nausea sucks, but it’s always fleeting.
- Take. Your. Vitamins.
- Drink water through a straw, it helps you to drink more as it feels like a habit.
- Find some way to constantly track your progress. I have every hour tallied on my arm, and it’s amazing motivation to keep going.
- Willpower is your best friend.
- So is thinspo.
- It’s okay if you can’t do your usual exercise routine, don’t strain yourself.
- You’ll also feel the cold a lot more. Wrap up warm.
But most importantly, I learnt that I /can/ restrict. And if I can, then I promise you, you can as well. ❤️
